The achievements of Maureen FitzSimons as a young performer in America (which we call Maureen O'Hara today) would have definitely put her into the category of child prodigies. However, for a child from Irish heritage surrounded by gifted parents and family, they had innate talents. Maureen entered this loving refuge within Ranelagh, Ireland on August 17th, 1920.
